Making the switch from saline breast implants to MemoryGel High Cohesive Silicone Gel breast implants might be a great option for women who are looking for a more natural look and feel. The surgery itself is actually very easy and offers very little downtime (because the pocket is already created). Dr. Broadway merely has to remove the old implant, and insert the new. If the patient stays close to the same size as their current implant (within about 100cc’s), then generally pocket work does not need to be performed.
If however, if you would prefer a substantial change, either bigger or smaller, then the pocket needs to be adjusted which can then make the surgery become more complex, more time consuming for the surgeon, and more expensive for the patient.
