Juvederm Volbella XC

Allergan recently announced its new injectable gel called Juvederm Volbella XC. This product is intended to help with lip augmentation and the correction of around the mouth wrinkles. This is exciting news as the providers at Broadway Center Skin Essentials are among the first to be able to offer this new option for our patients.

Juvederm Volbella XC is best described as very soft, smoothly textured gel that contributes added volume to the lips and aids in softening the appearance of perioral wrinkles. Juvederm Volbella XC also contains another technological advancement known as Vycross. This added element helps to address specific patient concerns including lip fullness, volume loss in the cheek region due to aging, or perioral wrinkles.

The safety and overall efficacy of Allergan’s new product, Juvederm Volbella XC, was observed in clinical trials and studies. Over the course of 1 year, roughly two thirds of

patients treated with Juvederm Volbella XC demonstrated marked improvement in lip fullness and around the mouth lines. Additionally, the safety of the product was demonstrated.
