Are You Using Medical Grade Skin Products?
Your face is your calling card. This is the first place a person looks at when meeting you. Proper skin care can achieve healthy, strong and radiant skin.
A good skin care regimen is the least invasive way to change your skin. The problem starts in the dermal layer, due to a breakdown of collagen and elastin and a decrease of moisture.
Your Skin & Aging
This change can start in your early 30’s, with a decrease in the production of collagen, and cellular turn over goes from 28 days to 45 days. Loss of adhesion between the epidermis, the upper layer, and the dermis, the middle layer, creates prematurely aged skin, skin lines and wrinkles.

Medical Grade Products
Medical grade skin care products contain high amounts of active ingredients that will work to correct specific skin conditions. Clinical research of ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, antioxidants, retinol and growth factors, just to name a few, are proven to penetrate the epidermis or top layer of the dermis. Collagen, elastin and new skin cells are then stimulated, and skin conditions are corrected.
Over the counter products do not have the clinical research or level of active ingredients to penetrate the epidermis, so there is no correction of any skin problems.
Medical grade sunscreens available at Skin Essentials provide maximum protection from the UVA and UVB rays with a combination of physical and chemical ingredients.
Sunscreen does expire over a period of time, so it is important to check your sunscreen to make sure it is clearly marked with an expiration date. Medical grade products are found in doctor’s office, and it is important that you see a professional to advise you on products that can correct your skin condition and concerns.
Aging is a natural part of life, looking your age is not!
